Our Food

With a profound emphasis on the local and the seasonal, Head Chef Shane Hughes has created stunning menus that celebrate the finest ingredients from the Garden of England. Spread across 3 separate dining spaces, our restaurant opens seven evenings a week, offering knock-your-socks off a la carte and tasting menus. For the true gastronaut, there is even a blind menu, served up in the Tasting Room and comprised of whatever the Chef is particularly smitten by from the fresh ingredients picked and collected and caught and delivered every day.

The restaurant opens again for a Sunday lunch to die for. Throughout the rest of the week, a more casual lunch is available every day in the bar, the upper dining room and, when the sun shines, on the terraces. During the summer, we barbecue up another delicious lunch option outside the cafe from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Above all, our food is designed to enjoy. Our chairs are comfy, our dining style relaxed, our dishes playful and indulgent.

We take our food very seriously, so that our guests don’t have to.
