Dining at The Salutation

The Salutation offers a wealth of dining options, from dawn ‘til dusk. Our restaurant opens 7 evenings a week to serve short- and full-tasting menus, as well as a full a la carte offering. It’s also the home of our sensational Sunday Lunch (you’re advised to book well ahead). Set across three interlinked spaces, our restaurant also includes The Tasting Room, overlooking the lustily beating heart of the kitchen itself, as well as several private dining options.

Outside of the restaurant, the same celebrated kitchen team work hard to ensure that the hotel and gardens have something to offer everyone at every time of day. Our cafe, full of freshly prepared treats (and the best coffee in town), is open daily from 9-5. Laid-back lunch, in the bar-menu style, is served in our upper rooms and, weather permitting, on the terraces overlooking the gardens. Afternoon Tea is likewise to be had looking out over the main borders, and is an unmissable indulgent treat all year round.

We are cult-like in our obsession with local sourcing and in-house production.
