Your visit

So that all visitors can appreciate the beauty of The Salutation gardens, we would appreciate it if all picnickers took their rubbish home with them. Empty Salutation hampers should be left at the allocated collection points. We kindly ask that you leave the gardens by 6pm so that we can set up for our evening opera dinner.

The Salutation encourages you to enjoy the gardens, but please beware that the pond is un-fenced and children should be accompanied at all time. Please do not pick our flowers and plants. We are pretty fond of them in situ and some are not fit for consumption.

We are happy for you to bring along a picnic table & chairs and a parasol (for the hopefully glorious weather). We do just ask that you respect our gardens and the view for other patrons.

Dogs are welcomed on leads in the gardens but are not permitted in the main house of The Salutation.

Please respect any areas of the garden or main building which have been cordoned off for restricted access.
