The Salutation - A Rather Fine Kent Wedding Venue

The Salutation is a truly unique wedding venue in Kent located in the heart of historic Sandwich. With the stunning three-and-a-half-acre Secret Gardens as a backdrop and the old city walls cocooning the venue from the world outside, The Salutation is ideal for more intimate and personal weddings.

Ceremonies are held in our magnificent dining room - a grand open space offering the finest luxury decor, panoramic views of the garden and direct access to a private terrace for post-ceremony drinks with your party.

The dining room can accommodate up to 40 guests seated, further enhancing the intimacy and privacy of your special day.

Salutation Wedding Packages and Tariffs

We offer two wedding packages; choose between venue hire only, and venue hire with a short Champagne and canapes reception on the terrace.

With regret, we are unable to offer any form of dining or a space to host your wedding reception. We do, however, have close relationships with neighbouring restaurants and hotels who are extremely welcoming and helpful. The George and Dragon (just a two-minute walk) is a delightful example of a traditional public house serving gastro meals; The Bell is Sandwich's premier hotel located three minutes away, and offers fine dining, additional accommodation and a dedicated reception venue. Being one of the finest gardens in Kent, we are extremely well-placed to offer floral arrangements. We can also supply wedding photography if you haven't already booked your photographer elsewhere. Both services carry an additional charge - please ask for more information.
